So my oldest son will be 13 in six days!! Time flies....how has he grown so fast? I'm still clueless as to what to do for him for his birthday...this is an odd age....to old for a kid party but not old enough for a teen party....or is he?

My first blog 7-5-2010

This is my first blog. I decided that I would start a blog and try to blog often about my life, past and present. I will be thirty this year so I have thirty years of memories....this should be interesting. My life now is very different then it has ever been and I am happier now then I ever thought I would be. Growing up and into my early and mid twenties I was a product of my environment. I was born into a shattered life by parents that had no business having children. My father was a farmer and my mother left when I was an infant. My father remarried soon after divorcing my mother and I then had a step-mother and step-sister in my life. My maternal grandparents stayed in my life even when my mother chose not to. I made some bad choices in my life that have taught me lessons and made be the person I am today. I strive to be a better parent then I had and to let my children grow up in a loving, stable, and safe environment.

I will pick random thoughts, topics, and memories to blog about....stay tuned!
